Vegetation surveyOur experienced staff are capable of undertaking a variety of specialist vegetation surveys.

PBA provides a range of habitat and specialist vegetation surveys. Based as we are on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, our team routinely encounters a wide range of vegetation communities and protected sites, and we continually develop our capabilities within this area.

Deploying both our in-house team, and a range of leading taxonomic specialists, we provide services ranging from lower plants to ancient trees, from saltmarsh to montane, and from inner city wild brownfield to internationally important conservation sites.

Applying standard survey and assessment protocols, and with quality assurance support from a range of taxonomic specialists, habitat and vegetation surveys include:

        Aquatic macrophytes

        Invasive non-native species

In analysing and presenting survey results, we utilise georeferencing, PlantTracker, digital mapping plus a range of statistical procedures. Wherever we go, our clients are assured that we work to the very highest levels of health & safety in this sector.
